Get to Know our Property

Inside the house, there are multiple living areas, so everyone can find privacy to relax in their own way. The spacious, gourmet kitchen includes modern appliances and a coffee machine, and there is a beautifully appointed full dining room that seats eight. The house is fully air conditioned with ducted air, and the living areas feature many comfortable areas to unwind, including a fireplace for those cozy winter evenings, and a baby grand piano.

The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated. Four of the bedrooms feature a king sized bed, and the main suite also has an ensuite with both a bath and shower. The remaining bedroom has single beds, and there are full sized bathrooms. 

The expansive decks overlook Mt Ngungun towards the back of the property, and the healthy competition playing out on the 1/2 court basketball court and full sized tennis court – all under lights!  Swim in the glorious pool in Summer and enjoy the fire pit on those cooler nights.  There is a well appointed outdoor kitchen and entertaining area for your BBQ’s and a table tennis table to keep young and old busy! 

The Glasshouse Retreat is a beautifully appointed sanctuary to relax and unwind.  Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and fresh air, and watch the kids run and play and explore.  This acreage property also has plenty of space for dogs to enjoy (although we have no fences).  Even though you’ll feel far away,  in reality, you’ll only be 3 mins from local shops, 10 mins from Australia Zoo, 30mins from Caloundra. 

House Rules & Guest Agreement

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following House Rules.  These rules form part of the rental agreement between the Host and the Guest.  Failure to comply with these House Rules constitutes a breach of the rental agreement. Breach of these rules may result in immediate termination of the stay, forfeiture of fees, and/or additional charges.  The host reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately, without refund, and charge for damages and additional cleaning as required.

• No smoking or vaping inside the property
• No parties or events without prior approval
• Children must be supervised at all times near water
• Only registered guests are allowed overnight
• Pets on application and must be approved prior to booking
• Please clean up after you pet, indoors and outdoors
• Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding
• Pets are not allowed in the pool
• Respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
• No illegal activities permitted
• Please take care of the house and report any damages immediately
• No candles, incense, or open flames inside
• The use of pool, BBQ and other facilities is at the guest’s own risk
• Guests agree to follow all safety instructions and assume liability for use
• Please be aware of small creek and dam.  
• You will need to provide your own port-a-cot for infants.
• Clothes line is only under the house. There is a dryer available. 

Using the Property

• Kitchen: Feel free to use all appliances, but please clean up after use.
• Waste Disposal: Please separate recyclables and general waste. Bins are located outside.
• Laundry: Washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Departure Checklist

• Place rubbish in the outdoor bins
• Clean the BBQ
• Wash and put away dishes
• Check you have all belongings before leaving
• Turn off lights, air conditioning and appliances
• Return keys to the lockbox
