At Maleny Cottage, you’ll find a peaceful country escape in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This retreat is designed for comfort, space, and relaxation. With two levels, it offers plenty of room for families, friends, or groups wanting time away together.

Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms. Two feature queen beds, while the third has two singles. This layout makes it easy to host both adults and children. The bathroom includes a bath, shower, and toilet. There’s also a separate toilet off the living room, which adds extra convenience.

The upstairs kitchen is large and fully equipped, so cooking meals is simple. Right beside it is a spacious dining area where everyone can gather. Step out onto the rear deck and enjoy the fresh country air. It’s the perfect place for breakfast, coffee, or an evening glass of wine.

Downstairs offers even more space. The living area is ideal for relaxing with a book or sharing time together. For outdoor dining, there’s a covered BBQ and cooking area, complete with an entertaining deck. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit for stories and stargazing.

The heated pool is another highlight. Swim during the day, or enjoy a dip on cooler nights. There’s also a combined shower and bath nearby, plus a laundry for longer stays.

House Rules & Guest Agreement

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following House Rules.  These rules form part of the rental agreement between the Host and the Guest.  Failure to comply with these House Rules constitutes a breach of the rental agreement. Breach of these rules may result in immediate termination of the stay, forfeiture of fees, and/or additional charges.  The host reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately, without refund, and charge for damages and additional cleaning as required.

• No smoking or vaping inside the property
• No parties or events without prior approval
• Children must be supervised at all times near water
• Only registered guests are allowed overnight
• Pets on application and must be approved prior to booking
• Please clean up after you pet, indoors and outdoors
• Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding
• Pets are not allowed in the pool
• Respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
• No illegal activities permitted
• Please take care of the house and report any damages immediately
• No candles, incense, or open flames inside
• The use of pool, BBQ and other facilities is at the guest’s own risk
• Guests agree to follow all safety instructions and assume liability for use

Using the Property

• Kitchen: Feel free to use all appliances, but please clean up after use.
• Waste Disposal: Please separate recyclables and general waste. Bins are located outside.
• Laundry: Washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Departure Checklist

• Place rubbish in the outdoor bins
• Clean the BBQ
• Wash and put away dishes
• Check you have all belongings before leaving
• Turn off lights, air conditioning and appliances
• Return keys to the lockbox
